P.A.C.T. of Arizona is a non-profit organization that welcomes families and caregivers of individuals with Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorder, PDD-NOS, and other neurological disorders to interact on our forum.
We are a growing support group founded by parents raising children with Autism and other special needs located in Kingman, AZ. "Parenting Autism Challenges Together" is our focus. The chance to learn, share, and gain support from each other is what we hope to accomplish with each meeting. Many of our experiences are the same. We want to provide you with valuable resources, workshops, and topics that will assist you in your parenting journey.
The mission of P.A.C.T. is to provide community awareness of Autism and help support our families where every day lives are challenged with a child in their family with Autism.
It isn't easy raising a child with Autism, but it doesn't have to be difficult. We invite you to interact on our forum and share your story. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our children.
What is Autism? Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and is the result of a neurological disorder that affects the normal functioning of the brain, impacting development in the areas of social interaction and communication skills. Both children and adults with Autism typically show difficulties in verbal and non-verbal communication, social interactions, and leisure or play activities as well as possible challenges academically.
